Following the Indianapolis American challenge, a new round is getting closer for the Repsol Honda duo. In fact the coming weekend Dani Pedrosa and Gas testimonial Andrea Dovizioso will be disputing the Grand Prix of San Marino, which will take place at the Misano Adriatico circuit as usual.
After the superb victory of Indy, Dani Pedrosa is feeling confident about the fact he has great chances to improve his second position in the Championship; at the moment Spaniard is 68 points off compatriot and standings leader Jorge Lorenzo. Considering the fact that last year at Misano Daniel rounded off the podium after leading the race, Repsol Honda Spaniard hopes he will register a great performance on Sunday as well, when the 12th round of the season will take place.
Team mate Andrea Dovizioso, fifth classified at the previous round, is getting ready for the Italian challenge and he feels like winning as it represents his home GP. In 2009 Andrea snatched the fourth position to Loris Capirossi, facing a dog fight after recovering from the eight position of the grid, and as the red lights will blink off on Sunday, he will pull away seeking the awaited podium finish.
2010 marks the fourth year the MotoGP will hit Misano, after 16 long years during which the circuit did not appear in the Top Class calendar. On Sunday at 2:00pm, local time, the Repsol Honda riders and the other challengers will face the 28-lap race on the 4.226km long Italian track.
Moto2
After being the protagonist of the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix, Toni Elias is getting ready to repeat it at Misano, where also the other two American podium finishers, Julian Simon and Scott Redding, will try to take his place.
125cc
Marc Marquez was chased by a run of ill luck last weekend at Indianapolis, and had to feel happy to come home with the tenth place. On Sunday at the San Marino GP, the 125cc Championship leader will try to recover the points he lost and he perfectly knows he will have to face two strong rivals, Sandro Cortese and Pol Espargaro, who were respectively second and third at the Indianapolis Grand Prix.
