Final MotoGP round of the 2009 MotoGP season, today at Valencia the Repsol Honda duo fought to reach the success. Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso never lost the will to struggle and classified second and third.
Very positive day and full of emotions for Spaniard Dani Pedrosa who was able to close the gap to Jorge Lorenzo. Dani had a good feeling with his performing Honda RC212V and after a precise work done with the team to find the best set up, Spaniard was able to conquer the second grid position.
Today Andrea worked hard to stay in the front, but despite it he is determined to draw his abilities in tomorrow’s race. Dovi struggled with the wild card Ben Spies for the ninth place, who was conquered by the American whilst the Repsol Honda rider rounded off the top ten.
Casey Stoner rode with a superb style his Ducati till reaching the first place of Sunday’s starting grid. The Australian rider was a little bit faster than Spaniard Pedrosa, who was followed by compatriot Jorge Lorenzo. Tomorrow the final Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana is going to take place in the Ricardo Tormo circuit.

Alex Debon imposed his rhythm in the qualifying session of the final Grand Prix hosted at Valencia despite he crashed at the end of the session. Tomorrow the Aeropuerto Castello Blusens rider will start from the front row of the starting grid joined by Marco Simoncelli, Hector Barbera and Ratthapark Wilairot. Championship leader Hiroshi Aoyama was fifth.

At the head of the Valencia starting grid there is going to be Julian Simon, Spaniard who is already the World Champion secured himself the seventh pole position of the year courtesy of the time of 1’41.472. Behind Simon there were Simone Corsi, team mate Bradley Smith and Marc Marquez.
